DIY Easy Bath Bombs Recipe from Idle Wife here. In the comments read whether you want to use citric acid or cream of tartar (which you can get anywhere). For more spa recipes like spa kits, scrubs, milk baths, and a spa kit light enough to mail go here: diychristmascrafts.tumblr.com/tagged/beauty

My current WIP.  I don’t remember where I found the pattern; I’ve had it saved to my computer for ages.

Last year, someone gave me a bunch of cross-stitch supplies they no longer used.  This set of DMC satin floss was in it.

This is the first time I’ve used it. It’s quite different than working with cotton floss.  The main problem I’ve had is that the strands tend to separate a lot.  Other than that, I really like it.  It’s shiny and very soft.

I see a few mistakes in the second photo.  The stitches are messy.  I’ll blame it on the floss.  lol

DIY Wire Worry Ring Tutorial Essas Frescurites here. I post a lot of wire jewelry because it is cheap and easy to make and once you’ve gotten the hang of it you can upgrade from cheap wire to sterling silver. I once posted DIY worry rings but someone ridiculously claimed they had “invented” the worry ring (really?) and the blogger took down the tutorial. I posted a similar one for toe rings here. For more wire DIYs go here: truebluemeandyou.tumblr.com/tagged/wire

Moss Wars Terrarium from the Etsy Store of Moss Love Terrariums here. First seen at Soap Deli News here. There are really fun and creative terrariums at this link. I’m not saying to copy this Etsy seller’s designs but to see what  is out there. This is such a customizabe DIY with miniatures (here are some including zombies at Amazon). My mother keeps rotating scenes in her $5 terrarium that I bought with a coupon at Michaels - one week it’s a dinosaur Jurassic Park theme (very effective with the vegetation) and another week it’s miniature bunnies and deer. For terrariums that I’ve posted go here like the $3 3 Minute Terrarium: truebluemeandyou.tumblr.com/tagged/terrarium.And for Star Wars DIYs go here: truebluemeandyou.tumblr.com/tagged/star-wars

DIY Star Wars Concrete Death Star Vase and Stormtrooper Knob Tutorial from HomeMade Modern here... because nothing says “flowers” like the Death Star. These are made out of Quikrete (which I’ve used for stepping stones) and silicone ice trays ($13.50 for the Death Star here and $9.85 for the Stormtrooper Tray here). I don’t think their Quikrete link is right because it’s opening up to the grittier heavy duty version.
